    Evaluation: Evaluation is the analysis of activities and programs to determine changes needed and/or the effectiveness of the program on a variety of levels. Organizations with evaluation capacity embrace self-analysis and change. There are four main types of evaluation: needs assessment, process evaluation, impact, and evaluation.     Evaluation Capacity Studies: Organizations spend years building programs and activities, but may fail to understand the importance of evaluation within those programs and the organization itself. An evaluation capacity means there are processes always in place to ask questions about What are we doing? How are we doing it? Are we being effective? What is it like to participate in our programs? Are we making a difference? How do we define success? Low evaluation capacity means an organization is heavy on the activity side, but weak on the reflection of those activities.     Process & Flow Mapping: Any business or organization uses processes. The extent to which they know and understand those activities will determine their effectiveness. A process in public health may be the activities conducted in a particular sequence by different workers to achieve an end outcome.
